Built by a landlord, for landlords
Bilterm is made by Bynapse Technology in Saint-Jérôme, Québec — and it’s dogfooded daily on a real rental building.
Most property management software is built by software companies guessing at what landlords need. Bilterm started from the other end: an owner managing his own building, tired of the spreadsheet-and-shoebox system, who decided the rent ledger, the maintenance trail, the tenant conversations, and the deal math should live in one place.
For landlords who think like investors
Bilterm’s founding idea is simple: property management is an investment strategy, not an administrative chore. That’s why the dashboard leads with NOI, cap rate, cash-on-cash, and DSCR — the numbers an investor actually watches — and why the acquisitions pipeline treats your next building with the same seriousness as your current ones.
Operations still come first. A beautiful cap-rate chart means nothing if you can’t answer which tenant owes March rent. So Bilterm does both: the unglamorous daily work (leases, ledger, repairs, documents) and the investor lens on top of it.
Québec roots
Bilterm is built for Québec’s rental rules from day one: TAL form links on every lease, renewal-deadline alerts timed to the notice window, no security-deposit fields anywhere, and an interface in English, French, and Romanian.
