Plumbers, electricians, snow removal, the handyman who does everything \u2014 they all live in Fournisseurs<\/strong>, with their invoices and your payments tracked against them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to Fournisseurs<\/strong> and click Add vendor<\/strong> (or \u201cAdd the first vendor\u201d if the list is empty).<\/li>
  2. Under Business<\/strong>: enter the Business name<\/strong>.<\/li>
  3. Under Primary Contact<\/strong>: First name<\/strong> and Last name<\/strong> (required), plus Email<\/strong> and Phone<\/strong>.<\/li>
  4. Under Entreprise<\/strong>: Licence\/permit number<\/strong>, Tax ID \/ business registration<\/strong>, and Internal notes<\/strong> \u2014 the stuff you\u2019d otherwise keep in your head (\u201conly available Tuesdays\u201d, \u201cbring exact change\u201d).<\/li>
  5. Save. The vendor gets a detail page with their contact info, categories, and history.<\/li>
  6. When the bill arrives, record a vendor invoice<\/strong> on the vendor record. When you pay it, record a vendor payment<\/strong>. The Vendors dashboard tracks Unpaid Invoices<\/strong>, Pending Approvals<\/strong>, and Spend YTD<\/strong> across all vendors.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Tips<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    • Fill in the licence and tax ID when you add the vendor, not at tax time. You\u2019ll need them for your accountant anyway.<\/li>
    • The On-Time Completion<\/strong> metric only means something once projects have due dates \u2014 set them on the project, and the vendor scorecard builds itself.<\/li>
    • Vendors get a limited portal of their own. Share project documents and photos with them through Drive rather than texting PDFs back and forth.<\/li><\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
