\u201cWho owes me money?\u201d The answer lives on the building\u2019s Rent<\/strong> tab. Learn to read it and you\u2019ll never guess again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the building and go to the Rent<\/strong> tab.<\/li>
  2. Read the four headline figures first: Billed<\/strong> (total charges), Collected<\/strong> (total payments), Outstanding<\/strong> (the difference), and Collection Rate<\/strong> (collected as a share of billed).<\/li>
  3. Scroll to the Rental Ledger<\/strong> table. Each row is one entry with: Date<\/strong>, Type<\/strong> (Debt, Rent, or Payment), Description<\/strong> (e.g. \u201cUnit 85A, J. Tremblay \u2014 Aug 2026\u201d), Status<\/strong> (Paid or Pending), Charges<\/strong>, Payments<\/strong>, and the running Balance<\/strong>.<\/li>
  4. Filter by lease<\/strong> to see one tenancy\u2019s full history, or by status<\/strong> to isolate everything still Pending.<\/li>
  5. Use the per-row action menu for row-level operations (open, edit, or reverse an entry).<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Tips<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    • Outstanding<\/strong> is the number that matters month to month. If it grows three months in a row, you have a collections problem, not a bookkeeping problem.<\/li>
    • The Collection Rate<\/strong> is your building\u2019s report card. Anything under 90% deserves a plan, not a shrug.<\/li>
